The peripheries of Ethiopia’s capital city Addis Abeba: Akaki, AlemGena, Burayu,Sebeta, Keta and Ayer Tena have been hit with anti government protests today. As a possible effect of this, businesses in the city center, Merkato and Piassa closed their doors early. Transportation(taxi) to and from the places, where protests are going on has been stopped.
Businesses, vehicles and properties belonging to and affiliated with the TPLF (EPRDF) front have allegedly been vandalized or burned down.
