Following the anti-government protests that started yesterday in Kobo, Northern Welo, Amhara Region, Ethiopia, ESAT and other Ethiopian activists are reporting that at least seven civilians have been killed so far. The government securities are accused of helicopter supported attacks against the locals.
The roads to Tigre region are still blocked.

We reported yesterday that armed local people were also fighting with regime securities.
Latest reports indicate that special units of the Ethiopian National Defence Forces (ENDF) have entered the town committing execution style killings against civilians.
