According to Ethiopian netizens, one of the biggest prison cells in Dessie, Wello, Northern Central Ethiopia, Dessie Prison, has been broken by an alleged Amhara anti-government activists, who freed a number of prisoners, among whom include political prisoners.
Scuffles and clashes with government securities reportedly resulted in deaths and injuries.
The level of fatality has not yet been fully accounted.
