The number of people killed by the mudslide in Addis Abeba’s Koshe area has reached 46, according to Ethiopian state media.

This is one of the most horrific and large-scale natural disaster deaths to happen in the Ethiopian capital.

A mudslide in Addis Abeba near Koshe, Kolfe Keranyo Sub-city area has tonight demolished around 15 houses injuring several, Addis Abeba based entertainment show Tadias Addis on Sheger FM has reported.

Emergency and Fire Services are pulling the injured out of the mudslide.

Ambulances have so far taken 14 injured people to hospitals.

The cause of the mudslide is being investigated but the Radio source has said that there was a huge pile of mud in the area.
