Yonatan Wolde and Bahiru Degu, friends of our co-blogger Zelalem Workagegnehu, who were acquitted last Friday by the Ethiopian Court after 647 days of unjust arrest, were detained yesterday again hours after they were released from Kilinto Prison. They have been freed early today and have joined their families.
The reasons for their re-arrest and what happened in Me’akelawi overnight have not been yet known but as to sources “nothing serious happened.”
Yonatan and Bahiru were charged with applying for a digital security course, which the court acquitted them last Friday April 15, 2016.
