Famous Ethiopian exorcist priest Memhir Girma Wondimu is to remain detained as police has sought seven more days of investigation. Memhir Girma appeared before Court today after he was arrested by Addis Abeba Police yesterday few days after he returned from a healing service in Australia.
Police reportedly explained to the Court that the priest was arrested for allegedly engaging in a “misleading/cheating activity”. The Court, therefore, ordered that Memehir Girma could remain arrested until his next appearance on November 5, 2015.
