HARGEISA-Somaliland Intelligence Agency in conjunction with its Ethiopian counterpart has nabbed two members of Ogaden Liberation Front ONLF that sneaked into Bali Abane and Sayla from Ethiopia.
Somaliland Intelligence officer confirmed the apprehension of two ONLF members and received information gathering from their Ethiopian counterparts and launched raid that led to the capture of the two ONLF soldiers.
The two soldiers are in detention in Bali Abane district following their arrest.
They admitted of being members of Ogaden Liberation Front but reports indicate that there are 20 members who accompanied the detained soldiers of ONLF.
The Ethiopian Federal Government is demanding the extradition of the two soldiers but Hawd regional administration in Somaliland are consulting the right move to take when it comes to the two ONLF soldiers.
Somaliland and Ethiopia have bilateral ties on the areas of security and he two countries extradite and hand over to the criminals that sneak into the borders of the two countries.
Ogaden Liberation Front better known as ONLF is said to be weakening and many members have surrender to the government of Ethiopia in return for peace and the regional Somali administration in Ethiopia have done their best to divide and rule the ethnic clans that support the Front.
The regional Somali President Mr. Abdi Iley did all he could to integrate ONLF politicians into the administration and convince Ogaden people to compete with other ethnic nations in Ethiopia.
